Oh confucius, you're so confused! Just kidding, hahah :P... Well, kinda. You created quite a mess. First, the naming conventions state the opposite of what you did with the clock king episode, check Wikipedia:Naming conventions (television)#Episode articles. User Dyslexic Agnostic also said something about the naming conventions (I gues that's where you took the wrong idea from) but he was making it up based upon the fact that several episode articles commit the same mistake, but ignoring the advise from a couple of experienced administrators that previously told him he was using the patenthesis wrongly. Parenthesis clarifications are ONLY for disambiguation cases.

Secondly, the page you moved was not the one about the episode named "The Clock King", but the one about the character's bio. Thirdly, the episode name is "The Clock King", not "Clock King".

I'll be fixing that up for you, don't worry.--T-man, the wise 18:52, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

noted Ohconfucius 01:30, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Don't worry, we are a comunity here, we all fix everybodys mistakes and get everybodys back. I myself make a bunch of mistakes, specially because I'm not a native English speaker. Thanks for taking it so easy, that show a lot of character on your part, normally we all tend to get too defensive around here, even when we are wrong. We need more people like you!!.--T-man, the wise 04:16, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

I do understand. Also I'm not infallable Thx for your comments :-) Ohconfucius 04:23, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adam Dunning

Hi, I've removed your AFD on Adam Dunning because you've failed to follow through with the procedure correctly. Firstly, the tag was pointing at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Snyder_Communications and secondly you failed to write up your nomination at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Adam_Dunning. A one-line edit-summary does not count as a AFD nomination. Please follow the procedure at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion properly and clearly cite which policies you are referring to. --  Netsnipe  (Talk)  04:33, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Many thanks for the icing on the cake!

Dear Ohconfucius, Thank you so much for helping me out with the lay-out of Andy Pratt (singer-songwriter)and a few minor corrections - your alertness is not usually associated with Chinese philosophers ...;-) The reference to the Low Countries was merely to indicate the fact that Andy Pratt has worked and lived in both Holland and Belgium. It seems a pity that my article is currently deemed "linkless"; does that mean the orphan will be shown the Wiki door before long? Isn't it peculiar that baseball player Andy Pratt receives all the attention in the world while this singer-songwriter might remain unknown to Wikipedia readers? In my 1st edition of the Dutch music encyclopedia "OOR", Pratt is introduced as "one of the most remarkable musical phenomena the 1970s have brought forth", or words to that effect. Anyway, thanks again and keep up the good work! P.S Pratt actually wrote a song about widows and orphans, "Who Will Be My Friend?", isn't that a coincidence? Please help me find a foster parent (link) for my first article. Feel free to contact me on my Frankly speaking Talk page or by E-mail. Incidentally, I couldn't find your user page. [edit] Agricultural protectionism merge

I saw you placed {{mergeto}} on the article, but forgot to place {{mergefrom}} on the Protectionism article. That way the people with only the Protectionism article on their watchlist won't see that you want the two merged so I've taken the liberty of placing the tag for you. - Dammit 10:55, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

thank you for helping me out on my first merge proposal Ohconfucius 01:27, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Redirects

You added the {{rfd}} tag to Alan J.Gow the other day. However, you did not properly place the tag in front of the redirect nor did you list it at WP:RFD. I have fixed the target of this redirect and removed the rfd tag. If you still wish to nominate it for deletion, please follow all the instructions at WP:RFD. I would note, however, that redirects of this type are typically kept. Let me know if you have any questions. -- JLaTondre 15:38, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Same with Penecillin. Two others I deleted as implausible typos (CSD R3). -- JLaTondre 15:48, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Also, Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also push the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! alphaChimp laudare 06:34, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edit to Chan Tai-San

Your recent edit to Chan Tai-San (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Click here for frequently asked questions about the bot and this warning. // AntiVandalBot 08:09, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Your bot's actions were unhelpful for the following reason:
another editor had created the pages (1)Chan Tai San and (2)Chan Tai-San with identical texts. I was trying to put in place a redirect from (2) to (1). Nevertheless, your efforts to prevent vandalism are applaudable Ohconfucius 08:16, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

Please do not upload high resolution fair use images. Fair use images on Wikipedia should always be of low resolution to comply with copyright law and our own policies. --Hetar 05:00, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Margclarke.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Margclarke.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:09, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD for Bobbi Smythe

Hi Ohconfucius, just wanted to let you know it looks like you forgot to complete your AfD nomination for Bobbi Smythe --Allen 17:50, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

thanks. I followed the instruction to delete multiple pages, but it seems to be missing something, so should have taken into account. But obviously I missed sthg, and I'm not quite sure how to deal with it. Ohconfucius 02:13, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
I see now. I've fixed them. I think the problem may be that for the Bobbi Smythe and Charles Escott articles, you inserted {{subst:afd1|Bobbi Smythe}} and {{subst:afd1|Charles Escott}}... but since those AfDs are covered under the Jack Fleming AfD, they needed to be {{subst:afd1|Jack Fleming}} instead. --Allen 02:43, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copy/paste AFD nominations for Big Brother contestants

Hi, your completely free to nominate any article you wish. However, it seems you are copy/pasting an identical nomination reason to many nominations, regardless of whether it applies. This produces a potentially misleading result. I would like to request you read and research each individual article, and ensure your description matches the article in question. I'm not suggesting you have no basis for the nominations. You may well have good reasons for every nomination. But you're not giving good *unique* reasons for each one, but merely copy/pasting. In some cases, you've stated a literal falsehood. Obviously, this was not inentional. You'll find properly argued nominations are much more likely to result in the consensus than copy/paste operations. --Rob 04:54, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

On another note, you seem to be repeatedly nominating previously nominated articles, and then reverting. You can avoid this by previewing before saving (testing the link to the nomination) or by checking the talk page (or back links) for a prior nomination. --Rob 05:12, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
thanks for your comments. I was tempted to batch delete, but then thought it only fair tonominate them indiviually as each case is slightly different. I am guilty of being lazy with the descriptions, but I have looked at each entry and the template mostly applies. Admittedly, I have indeed opened myself to make mistakes. Your second message is noted. Ohconfucius 05:18, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of automobiles that were commercial failures up for deletion

Hi,

You have taken part in the AfD process for List of successful automobiles and voted delete. The decision was unanimous and the article was subsequently deleted. Now a corresponding article, List of automobiles that were commercial failures, is up for deletion for the same reasons. It would be only logicial and just to have them both deleted, so I cordially invite you to take part in the new discussion.

Regards, Bravada, talk - 09:11, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD: Buffyverse studies

Hiya, I noticed you voted to delete Buffyverse studies, I spent a bit of time trying to improve the article, so wondering if you wanna stick with your delete vote. The 'Buffy studies' that I have come across have been taught as a parts of courses on philosophy, feminism, media studies.. Such modules are taught all over the world. "College courses across the globe are devoted to the show, and secondary schools in Australia and New Zealand also provide Buffy classes."[1] The topic can even be undertaken as a Master's degree in London[2]. There's lots more info about how widespread it is in the article. It's hard to explain the huge popularity of a subject that only the minority are aware of, but it really is notable. -- Paxomen 13:11, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD: Hilary Cleveland

Hi, I added some to this article that you marked for deletion. If you have the time please read the expanded article and reconsider your vote to delete.

[edit] tardif dyskinesia?

Ho Confucius, you wise man. You're right to tag the article by self-published author Tardif - it is pure vanity and hubristic twaddle. Poor lady - making herself a target of fun and guffaws of incredulous laughter by actually admitting to 'highest honors' (whatever they are) from a correspondence school. I am reminded of that line from the Mikado 'the lady novelist, I've got her on the list'. Cheers. 203.27.90.186 04:46, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New info for reconsidering a vote

Hi Ohconfucius! I have provided additional information to support International Institute of Management article. I have listed the new information for verifying sources and notability at this article's entry . I kindly ask you to support this article by reconsidering your vote. I'm hoping you gave your recommendation in good faith and you will reconsider it in the light of new information. Miro.gal

  • Comment Hi Ohconfucius, thank you for posting a comment on the subject. The new information refers to my vote above (in this page) explaining notability and my detailed research (not in the original article). So I guess you missed the new info. If you research EUMEDIS you’ll find that it is one of the largest research projects in the world (31 billion Euro), IIM is listed on their website as partner through their MTCG JV in 2 consortiums covering 16 countries. http://www.eumedis.net/en/actors/sectors/1 and health research consortium http://www.eumedis.net/en/actors/sectors/4 One of their consortiums called MedNetU has won HotBird Satellite Education Program Awards in 2005. The education programs are broadcasted in 4 languages all over Europe and North Africa on (Rai Nettuno Sat) Channel. I found this link on IIM website http://www.iim-edu.org/news/Events_Photos10_MedNetU_Awards.htm But then I verified (Rai Nettuno Sat Award) independently from http://www.eutelsat.com/news/compress/en/2005/pdf/pr2705_HBA_Winners.pdf and http://www.eumedis.net/en/project/17 I’m confident this is good enough for international notability. As for the comment about the article reading like a brochure, I checked several other institutes articles on Wiki and it seems to me that they read the same way, however this can be subjective and I’m willing to work with you on editing the article and compare its style to other similar wiki articles. If you think, this makes a difference, please let me know Miro.gal
  • I have spent quite a lot of time researching this on your request, but don't intend on spending any more time on this. I think the article will get deleted. If not, and if I have the time, I may help out in rewriting. but don't hold your breath ;-) Ohconfucius 04:07, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Catherine Wing

Thank you for creating Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Catherine Wing. [edit] The rich get richer and the poor get poorer

Remember that whether you agree with the premise of an article isn't the question in AFD, but whether the subject is significant, verifiable, and can be covered in a neutral way. We've got articles about catch phrases a lot more recent, and a lot less significant, than this one. Gazpacho 23:06, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Duane Elgin AfD

This is about your nomination of Duane Elgin on AfD. I added several books that he published to the article . He sounds notable in light of the new information. When you encounter a potentially nn author, it is often worthwhile to visit http://catalog.loc.gov (for US authors) or http://catalogue.bl.uk (for UK authors) to see what he or she has written. TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 07:47, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: IIM

Thanks for the message. That really was intense, wasn't it? The more I dug into that site the less I liked it. I'm finding that retaliation and intimidation attempts are (unfortunately) becoming standard procedure for AfD votes – but when I found blatant plagiarism on their site and saw how they're trying to pass off speeches and presentations by executives as original content for their newsletter or whatever it was called, it was the last straw for me. Plagiarism drives me nuts, so I just had to write it up. Like I said, they shouldn't have asked me the question if they didn't really want the answer. If they think our little process is so brutal, I'm not sure they have the backbone necessary to be in business at all.

I didn't mention this earlier, but the editor who asked me to reconsider was panicking about the fate of that article to everyone she could think of - last Friday she posted at AN3 (?!?), at ANI, at MedCab, and even asked individual admins (I know she asked CobaltBlueTony, maybe others) to intervene who didn't know anything about it. At any rate, the whole thing was weird, and I'm glad it's over. This was the second incarnation of the article, though, and I'm betting they'll be back in a couple of months. [edit] Redirects

[edit] Pillar of Fire Church

I bumped into the following text from you on Wikipediatrix's talk page: "You're right to be persistent about this church. Keep up the pressure. There's something not too kosher about it. Norton has pulled a paragraph I wrote making his church look less than clean. I shall keep hammering the point. see PoF discussion page if you're interested. Ohconfucius 14:11, 1 September 2006 (UTC)" While, as a Jew, I do appreciate the line about "something not too kosher" about a Church, your tone and attitude demonstrate an extreme lack of good faith. Besides, what is "not too kosher" about this article that would justify deleting it? Alansohn 20:09, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Wow! I wasn't aware what he was saying either. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) 03:22, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Judith Burmeister

I wonder why you voted delete in this AFD. While I agree that most eliminated contestants on American Idol like shows don't deserve their own article, people like to read about such contestants. Why didn't you choose to redirect? That would mean she wouldn't have her own entry, but allows all contestants to be discussed (briefly) in the show's entry where they belong. It is kind of similar to the merging guidelines from WP:FICT. I'm not trying to get you to change your position, although that would be a nice effect. I'm trying to understand your train of thought. - Mgm|(talk) 09:54, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Who's Who

I note that you claim that it is possible to buy oneself an entry in Who's Who and further that you describe it as a "vanity publication". It may be a vanity publication in the sense that it serves the vanity of the people included in it, but it is not a vanity publication in the technical sense. A & C Black, its publisher, is a respected publisher that will be 200 years old next year. It is now part of the commercially successful Bloomsbury Publishing plc. These are not vanity presses. Further, while people may be flattered to be included in Who's Who that is not the purpose of the publication which is, rather, a very useful reference work that proves invaluable for anybody wanting to find some basic biographical details about important people such as MPs, members of the peerage, the judiciary, bishops, church dignitaries, senior members of the Armed Forces and the police services, university professors and vice-chancellors, heads of colleges, leading businessmen, etc. Finally, I wonder where you have heard about the practice of people buying the right to be included. As far as I understand the selection process is a closely guarded secret, but as far as I know there has never been any serious speculation that money changes hands - indeed, many of the people who are not included (pop singers, tv personalities, footballers) have more money than the people who are included (such as archdeacons and people who served one term as an MP forty years ago).--Oxonian2006 17:02, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

I stand corrected for my imprecise statement. I have now amended it. I did not mean to disparage Who's Who universally (or the people listed therein), just those editions where you can buy an entry. Wikipedia [WP:VAIN#.22Who.27s_Who.22_directories urges us caution] in taking Who's Who entries at face value of notability. Ohconfucius 01:51, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AFD

I saw you did a mass AFD (well not THAT big) on people who had been in reality tv talent shows. You can merge and redirect such entries to the relevant show if someone didn't do anything outside said appearance without any need for deletion. Please consider doing that instead as it takes just that little more pressure off AFD.

However, do make sure didn't do anything of note. For example Andy Lee-Smith (who you nominated) was part of a band with a song that placed #11 in the UK charts, toured with S Club 7 as a support act and had a notable managed. His appearance on Pop Idol may not have been stellar, but he certainly did something of note. - Mgm|(talk) 11:30, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi, why, in the template for Chinese surnames that you're adding to various Chinese people, is the surname itself not Wikilinked (they show up simply as bold). [edit] Crawford Murray MacLehose, Baron MacLehose of Beoch

Hey, I know this and I already have written articles myself, too, where I have saved the respective article under the person's middlename: In this case I moved Crawford Murray MacLehose, Baron MacLehose of Beoch to Crawford MacLehose, Baron MacLehose of Beoch to shorten the pagename; with two Christian names and his title it was to long. The normal procedure is to remove the middle name(s) (in some special cases we use the first/second/third middle name and delete the other ones). What I want to say with that: if I would have known that he is known better under Murray, of course I would have taken the name. Thanks for correcting my mistake. [edit] courtesy notification of merger discussion for Chairperson

I have proposed a merger of chairperson and chairman. I am notifying you as a courtesy. TonyTheTiger 17:24, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

If you are in support of my merger suggestion I would appreciate your commentary on that discussion page. Note I have posted comments in the last two section of the discussion page. Please comment in both sections if you have an opinion. TonyTheTiger 16:33, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Antonio Luna

Thanks for noticing the plagiarim in Antonio Luna. I should mention a few things. First, there was a complete article before the material was copied in, so it would not be a candidate for speedy deletion. Second, one of the links you thought it'd been copied from was probably a copy of the article, not the other way around. I've fixed the article by going back to the version before the plagiarism. Cheers, -Will Beback 02:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Album cats

Based on your edit history, I thought you might be interested in this list of albums without cats, in case you hadn't seen it mentioned on the talk page of WP:Album. Feel free to help out with this list in addition to the Category:Uncategorised albums list.--Fisherjs 10:13, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DougSoc

I didn't notice any discussion about merging this article with Douglas Adams. Given that it's about a different entity with (as the text suggests) only a tangential connection to Mr Adams, the case for doing this is debatable at best. Care to justify it? Phil PH (talk) 10:18, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sara Racey-Tabrizi AfD searches

Hi, I'm intrigued by the references you listed. How good are they? I keep searching for a tool better than google to determine notability. Cheers, :) Dlohcierekim 16:05, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your campaign to shrink Wikipedia

I thought everyone had agreed on the following:

1. Wikipedia is here with the goal of making the sum of all human knowledge available to everyone.

2. Don't be a dick.

But I'm probably interupting your search for new articles to get rid of. Happy hunting. JMalky 16:54, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

  • I will ignore the above, as it is a clear breach of WP:CIVIL. However, I will probably not react with equal restraint on the next occasion. Ohconfucius 01:21, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
    • Ok, I apologise, that was uncalled for. And honestly, I normally discourage 'personal' attacks. But could you please just take a second look at the comments you made about UK student television. I realise you may not have any interest or knowledge in that topic, and I also realise that irrelevant student societies are a bugbear for deletionists. But many are established, successful, nationally renowned organisations, and I implore you to do some more research before attacking them. Moreover, you probably aren't aware of this, but UK student television is actually undergoing something of a renaissance at the moment. For a very long time, most of the stations were totally irrelevant clubs with about ten members, and certainly not wikipedia material. NaSTA really was an "Informal group of Student television stations whose sole aim appears to be meeting up and giving each other awards." But within the last five years or so, UK student TV is being granted the same industry recognition as student print media, long regarded as an important and vital training ground for tomorrows journalists. The availablility of cheap digital video cameras and editing equipment has seen literally dozens of new stations spring into existence, and the face of British broadcasting is now being shaped by their alumni. By necessity NaSTA itself has finally been formed into a strong organisation with genuine powers, and I can assure you that its awards are judged by very senior and respectable industry figures. Having recently played a part in all these changes, I realise I have more interest in these topics than most other Wikipedians, but then again, I'm totally unaware of many of topics you yourself have written articles on. I do, however, relish the opportunity to learn something from them. Most of the individual station articles have been deleted, and I concede that perhaps their time for a wikipedia article hasn't come just yet, but I look forward to one day re-instating them when they've proved their worth. And I'm sure they will. In the mean time, I'd ask you to look back on the NaSTA article in a while, when it's up to the standard that this organisation deserves. Cheers. JMalky 10:24, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
I thank you for you words, and your apology is accepted. Whilst I do try to balance my time to writing articles, cleaning up, deletions and AfD, I may occasionally look at an article and sigh deeply. Student societies are generally not notable by consensus here on wikipedia, so it is true that I did not go beyond a basic Gsearch when propsing some of the student TV articles for deletion: I took the content in the articles at face value. I did actually skate by some which were had more than marginal claims of notablity. I hope we can work together to create a richer more complete wikipedia in future. [edit] Image:Sondek lp12.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Sondek lp12.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Sherool (talk) 07:21, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Early Bronze Age Irish Burial

You tagged that one as a copyvio. Just to make sure: You're saying you checked the printed book? Fut.Perf. 12:08, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] electronic article

No matter how obvious you think it is, please do not remove without going through the customary steps. You should know them by now. It is discurteous not to use them. DGG 09:07, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Eline Vlasblom: walled garden of hoaxitude ?

Regarding the Eline Vlasblom AfD, I have the feeling that this is part of a walled garden of hoaxes by Ottens (talk contribs). I've left a note at the AfD. Cheers ! Angus McLellan (Talk) 13:07, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Articles for Deletion

Hi! You nominated Ed Nimmervoll for deletion but then didn't complete the process. Therefore it cannot be deleted. If you still want to delete Ed Nimmervoll, you need to also follow steps II and III on this page. You may need to re-add {{subst:afd1}} to the article itself as these "orphan" AfD notices are usually removed. Thanks. ЯEDVERS 20:16, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Francisco Carrasco

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. While you have the time, please vote delete for the article. It's created by an user named Francisco de Liverpool, his/her only Wikipedia contribution. This certainly looks like self-promotion. Chanheigeorge 18:26, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Towers

I am using administrative rollback to get rid of dozens of undiscussed db tags on possibly-notable buildings, which assert notability, and which are not eligible for A7, anyway. Your edits are pretty much vandalism. - crz crztalk 04:53, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Masts for deletion

Hello. As the closing admin, I'm notifying the most active contributors to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/University of North Carolina Tower Chapel Hill, which has now been closed, in case they want to take any action about it. Best, Sandstein 12:03, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Counting Google hits

Excellent stuff. Keep it up! The more editors that we have pushing for sources, sources, sources at AFD, the better our decisions will end up being. Uncle G 09:39, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TBN Tower

I've closed this AfD and deleted the articles, but would you mind terribly de-linking the red links that have been left at List of masts and List of tallest structures in the world? I'd be grateful. Thanks. Chick Bowen 03:27, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Oh, and ditto for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/KCHZ Tower, if you would be so kind. Chick Bowen 03:31, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
  • most of them have already been de-linked in the last few days. I'll finish the job off. Ohconfucius 03:33, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. Cheers, Chick Bowen 03:51, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] your edit to The Justice

I was wondering why you put an AfD on The Justice and then five minutes later redirected it to Judge. If you honestly think it should be deleted why not allow the AfD process? The article has been around since 19 December 2004 and would probably survive AfD, I guess. Just wondering. Thanks. --EarthPerson 15:15, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

  • It occurred to me that although the article was specific, "the justice" may also be unspecific, as in generic term for judge. It's just that there have been occasions where stuff has not been deleted but redirected to the most appropriate place, so I thought I'd do that. Voilà. Ohconfucius 16:04, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Yes, the article is specific, but I believe that it is also notable. But you are redirecting it a page when there is already an disambiguation page that links to it here: Justice (disambiguation). The newspaper is listed under "In other fields:" section. That same disambiguation page also has a link to Justice (official) which is what I think you mean by Judge. In fact, link on it. It goes to the same page as your redirect. Take a look at both Wikipedia:Redirect and Wikipedia:Disambiguation.
    • All that said I don't think you should redirect the page on the student newspaper on the grounds that the paper is Non-Notable. To redirect it makes it look like you are hiding the article and others may think that looks suspicious. If you believe that the article should be replaced with a redirect, you should nominate The Justice for deletion indicating that you believe it to be non-notable in the reason for AfD.
    • Please revert the article back to either the version with your AfD nomiation and persue it that way, or revert to the version before that. Thanks. --EarthPerson 17:33, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] North Korean company

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. An article you recently created, Korea Oryun General Trading Corporation, has been tagged for speedy deletion because its content is clearly written to promote a company, product, or service. This article may have been deleted by the time you see this message. Please keep in mind that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising service. Thank you. .........There is no way for me to check if this article is an advertisement or not; it has already been deleted. I am not a member of the advertising industry. --McTrixie/Mr Accountable 05:10, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
