Ogawa Seiki

Ogawa Seiki is the name of a Japanese model aircraft engine company.[dubious — see talk page]
Ogawa Seiki was founded in 1936 by Shigeo Ogawa (originally a manufacturer of model steam engines.) After World War II, Ogawa Seiki expanded to produce the MAX line of engines, which won acclaim for their performance and durability. Through the 1970's, their reputation for a precision manufacturing increased with the introduction of the OS Rotary, an engineering feat of its time, and the OS four-stroke. The 1980's brought increasing competition, which increased drastically across the 1990's and into the 21st century. OS innovated and occasionally stumbled in its product offerings, but maintained its reputation (along with YS) as a high-quality Japanese manufacturer.
