Odyssey Number Five is the fourth album by Australian rock band Powderfinger, first released by Universal Records in September 2000. Critics heralded the album as the band's best yet and they were rewarded at the 2001 ARIA Awards sweeping the field winning 6 ARIAs including the two most coveted awards - Album and Single Of The Year (For "My Happiness").

Powderfinger did not only receive critical acclaim but also commercial success as the album topped the Australian ARIA chart on debut and went on to sell more than 500,000 copies being awarded a 7 times Platinum accreditation.
