Oceanborn is the second album by Nightwish, released in October 1998. Oceanborn is one of their darker albums, making use of harsh male vocals in songs like The Pharaoh Sails To Orion.
The entire album was basically fantasy oriented with tracks like Swanheart, Walking In The Air and The Pharaoh Sails To Orion. Other songs had a more religious feel to them, like Passion and The Opera and Gethsemane. In addition, there were also some theatrical tracks like Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean.
