Ocean Phantom

The Ocean Phantom is an example of fictional creature which scientists from The Future is Wild hypothesize could evolve within in 100 million years. The Ocean Phantom is a huge sea creature that visits the algal reef, approximately 30 feet long and 13 feet wide. Descended from the present day siphonophores, they form a floating mass with highly advanced systems of coordination and functions. Each phantom is actually a colony of thousands of individual creatures combined into one giant organism.
