Obtest is a pagan black metal band from Vilnius, Lithuania. They started playing in 1992 as brutal death metal act, but soon changed the style to black metal. All of their lyrics are about the old Lithuanian times, war, legends, myths and the old Lithuanian religion. It is always sung in Lithuanian, although few songs on their demo releases are in English. The band currently refers their music style as heathen war heavy metal.
