Frankie J. most likely did not write this single, as it was a very popular song in Latin America and had been sung by popular latin groups such as Aventura long before Frankie J's version became popular in America.
The song explains a man's liking of a woman, to the point of obession. However, this feeling is "not love", and is still only and just an obsession.
