Observatory Hill, Darjeeling

Observatory Hill in Darjeeling is a hill near the Chowrasta. Magnificent view of the snow clad peaks, including Mount Kanchenjunga is visible from the observatory hill. The Bhutia Busty monastery was originally located here. Now the hill has the temple of Mahakala.
