Oberes Geiseltal

Oberes Geiseltal is a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") in the Merseburg-Querfurt district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated southwest of Halle (Saale). The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft is in Mücheln.

The Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Oberes Geiseltal consists of the following municipalities (population in 2005 between brackets):

  • Krumpa (1.266)
  • Mücheln (Geiseltal) * (9.419)
  • Oechlitz (589)
