Oberbergische Postkutsche

From May till the end of October - in each case on Fridays, on Saturdays and on Sundays - a replica of a stagecoach of the imperial post operates between Nümbrecht and Wiehl about 1871. On the regional attractive distance there is a row of breakpoints. The idea was brought in the beginning of the seventies in the Oberbergische and was moved here. Passengers can experience in such a way as earlier the post was transported and to itself travelers to her destination allowed to bring. Her spinster journey did the Oberbergische stagecoach in 30th April in 1973. Since that time she went zweispännig about the hilly route, and the yellow carriage excited great sensation with visitors of the region over and over again. Friedhelm Stöcker rode in a coach since the first drive and was supported from 1991 by Walter Gran. In 31st October in 2004 both went into retirement and removed the goat for her successors.
Because the coach came to the years (the brake assembly was complained by the safety standards authority), had to be meant of an overhaul. Because the local authority communes Wiehl and Nümbrecht had no money for the adjustment, the Wiehler company BPW Bergische axes stepped in to commendable way, and overtook the coach at the expenses of the house, beside hydraulic two circle brake system - two new roller bearing axes were provided.
From the 1st May, 2005 she becomes with a new postilion's occupying - and drive again between Nümbrecht and Wiehl.
