Obeliai (pronunciation (help·info)) is city in Rokiškis district municipality, Lithuania. South-west of the city is Obeliai lake. For a long time, Obeliai didn't have a coat of ams. It was designed in 1993 and confirmed on 8th September, 1993. On the coat of arms, the blue strip symbolises Kriauna river, while the silver symbolises Obeliai lake. In lithuanian Obelis means apple tree and so the apple tree flowers symbolise the actual city.
