Oak Knoll Navy Hospital

Oak Knoll Navy Hospital was a navy hospital located in Oakland, California that was closed in 1996 as part of the base realignment commitee. The location of the hospital was on Moutain Blvd in the Oak Knoll section of the city.
Scientology founder Ron L. Hubbard gained access to wounded patients at Oak Knoll and completed some of the initial research into what would become Dianetics.
