Oak Grove School (Jharipani, Mussoorie, India)

Oak Grove School got its name because of the many oak trees in the surrounding area. It is situated on hill tops covering 100 acres (40 ha) in Jharipani. Jharipani means drizzle and the onslaught of monsoons. The school was started by East India Railway Company on June 1, 1888. The students are the children of the Railway Employees with only 25% seats reserved for outsiders. At present there are 560 students.
