"O Say Can You Remember The Words? is episode #1.10 of the television series Hannah Montana.

Miley and Oliver have to do the famous play Romeo and Juliet together for a grade, but Miley doesn't want to work with Oliver because he is very bad at being Romeo. He also has a bit of a stage fright caused from when he was younger, when he was doing Abraham Lincoln's speech. He forgot the words half way in and grabs two oranges and pretends he's a fruit fly. When she tells her dad about how bad Oliver is at acting and being on a stage and how she wants to ask the teacher to switch partners, Oliver is walking in and overhears her talking about bailing out on him. He get mad at her and leaves. Miley feels bad about this, no matter how much she doesn't want to. She has to sing the "The Star-Spangled Banner" for a sports game (the beginning lyrics--"O say, can you see?"--from which the episode title is derived), and while she's singing it, she accidentally sings a line from Romeo and Juliet, and people start throwing things at her once she can't remember the words. When Miley as Hannah has to perform on a live show, she forgets the words to her own songs, but Lilly, who is dressed as Lola, brings cue cards, but she forgets to flip them at some points, and one is upside down. While trying to get Hannah/Miley to read them, a guy with an afro blocks her cue cards, and, when moving, she trips. When Hannah admits to the audience that she can't remember the words, Oliver stands up and starts singing them. Everyone else starts singing along with him, and then Hannah does too. She realizes that Oliver isn't mad at her anymore, and she loses her nervousness and remembers the words to her other songs. Then Miley realizes that friends don't bail out on each other the way she wanted to on Oliver and she apologized to and thanked Oliver for not bailing out on her.

Meanwhile, Jackson has to cure Rico's candy habit after a bad trip to the dentist, but this soon becomes his own obsession as he becomes more addicted to candy than Rico was. Then Jackson has a dream that he will get really fat and Rico will get very strong. Then Jackson wakes up and tries to stop eating junk food. While watching his sister's concert and eating carrots, he has a hallucination that the pillows on the couch are talking chocolate bunnies. The episode is named after the U.S.A national anthem "Star Spangled Banner."
