O.Madhavan (1922–19 August 2005) was an Indian director and actor. He was one of the founding members of the Communist part of India. He is considered as one of the great masters of Malayalam theater. His wife is Vijayalaksmi (an accomplished actress herself. His son Mukesh is also an accomplished actor.
