Nyurba

Nyurba (Russian: Нюрба) is a town in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located on the Vilyuy River, 846 km north-west of Yakutsk. Population: 10,309 (2002 Census); 11,934 (1989 Census).
Founded in 1930; urban-type settlement status since 1958; town status since 1998.
