When a demon kills the Satyr of the Spring of Life, the Satyr's underlings, a trio of Wood Nymphs, escape to San Francisco to find a new leader, while Phoebe has to live through seeing Jason Dean after she sleeps with him. They begin a relationship. After the Nymphs magically transform Paige into one of them, they are all captured by the demon, Tull, who forces them to lead him to the Spring. Piper and Phoebe must rescue Paige before the demon destroys the forest with his newfound powers.

- Tull and Xavier: Xavier and Tull, sons of Naides, are demon brothers who want the nymphs to bring them to the eternal spring to drink from it, which would make them immortal and indestructible. Xavier was vanquished by Piper, who was using a potion made by Paige. Tull achieved immortality by drinking from the Spring of Life. As he couldn't be vanquished, the Charmed Ones transformed him into a tree.

- The episode title is a play on words to the Cyndi Lauper song Girls Just Want to Have Fun, which was later made into the movie Girls Just Want to Have Fun starring Sarah Jessica Parker and former Charmed cast member Shannen Doherty.
- Another title The WB used in advertisements for this episode was Naughty Nymphs.
- Singer Todd Duffey had a hard time lip-syncing to his own music at P3, which is very evident in the episode.
