Nylon overall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

These women's overalls were popular in Britain and elsewhere especially in the 1960s and 1970s but have since become fairly rare. Many women wore these beautiful overalls for work (shop or factory and even in offices) and they were also frequently worn by housewives in the home.

Many styles of overalls were available, usually made from "Bri-nylon". Manufacturers were very inventive, contrasting colours/patterns and tailoring styles which ran from labcoat-style through to very feminine dress-style designs.
