Nuthetes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nuthetes is the name given to a dubious genus of reptile thought (by some) to be a dinosaur. The fossils are fragmentary, and there is some debate as to what it is. It has been variously classified as a dromaeosaur, a lizard, and a megalosaur. Whatever it was, it lived in Early Cretaceous England.
The type species, Nuthetes destructor, was described by Owen in 1854.
