[edit] Sea Pictures

Thank you for expanding Sea Pictures. I love those songs, and Janet Baker's recording.Frigoris 14:35, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alcoholism

Many thanks for your recent edits on Alcoholism. I had intended to make several of the changes that you did, but I tend to be...easily distracted, and you beat me to it. I'm hoping that one of the more "expert" editors involved will be able to provide the cite that you requested. Thanks again :) --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 18:13, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

LOL, we were both working on the same sentence at the same time in the Alcoholism article. Rather than over-write your edit, I added mine to the talkpage. If you have time would you be willing to review and comment? Thanks! --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 21:02, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I tried to revert the nonsense added Happy Savage, but you beat me to it and I lost another edit conflict :) If you start to run up against the 3RR limit, just let me know and I'll help out. --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 04:16, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi, there. Thanks for cleaning up the citations on this page, also. I do want to note that we split off the discussion about the Disease Theory of Alcoholism to its own page, and need to move all references, cites, and most text relating to that to that page, so much of the stuff you fixed will be moved there. I didn't want you to think that we were deleting stuff that you just worked on. Robert Rapplean 15:27, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alcoholic beverages

You're welcome :) Good work on the article, by the way - it's really comprehensive, and you seem to have brought it up on your own! Cheers, Tangotango 13:51, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jill Dando

Just wanted to say thanks for supporting me on the page Jill Dando. I was looking on the help pages to see if there is a specific wikipedia policy regarding the British/English question that could be cited to back up our side of it, but I can't find anything. Any ideas? Abc30 16:58, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sockpuppets & Mattisse

I saw your request on User talk:Mattisse you should be aware that Matisse has three times been accused of sockpuppetry and in each case the allegations have been upheld. By the time I responded to your request to comment, the sockpuppet page had already been archived. --The Transhumanist 05:14, 10 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AlzheimUr CENTRE

Dear Nunquam, I have introduced a link of a weblog that deals with a Centre for treatment of Alzheimer and it has been removed. Do you know the reasons?

Sincerely, jsmjsm

"Our weblog emerges from the wish to offer an insight into the process of creating ideas for the AlzheimUr Centre. This centre is the reference for the region of Murcia (Spain) to provide a comprehensive attention to the illness of dementia. This weblog is an added tool to the project. Besides proofing the elaboration of different criteria that guide the development of the work, it tries to encourage interactivity with a system of commentaries. This is done in order to enrich the project with significant suggestions. Interdisciplinary collaboration is believed to be an essential part of the architect’s work. Working sessions every day are based on different programmes to develop specific contents and objectives. At the beginning of the first ten days the approach will be very intuitive. Then it will formulate the brief which, without being completely defined, suggests aims and important interests which the project will be based on." Quoted from the first post of the weblog.

I hope this answers your questions on purpose of the blog, location of the centre, etc. Definitely, the design for an Alzheimer Centre is something much more complex than deciding the colours of the dining plates. It requires the strong collaboration of architects, doctors, patients and families. There is not much information on it and this weblog is recollecting facts on this theme. It is a pity to remove information of Wikipedia under such misunderstandings, so I would appreciate if you reconsider your action or somebody more qualified gives an opinion. Sincerely, jsmjsm User talk:Jsmjsm

I saw you added the BU reference--however as has been mentioned on the Talk:Alzheimer's disease page, we have tried to limit references to potential treatments to those that have been validated on large populations. Although it is an interesting study, it was studied in a population of only 9 subjects and does not seem to meet the standard. --Chrispounds 13:03, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Good Day to you Sir

Must say sorry about the mistake, must be getting old, sometimes forgetful, I must be more careful in the future. Tell me do you like Opera, becuase I could not but help draw an analogy between your user name and the aria Nessun Dorma I am an insomniac too. --Mr Maxim 21:05, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks

Hi! Thanks for the welcome note on my user talk page. I didn't know about some of the things you mentioned, such as the Five Pillars of Wikipedia. Now I know. Thanks again! RobertAustin 15:43, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Since I'm here to say "Thanks" as well I won't bother creating a new header. Good work on those cites in the Disease theory of alcoholism. Your talents and skills are much appreciated :) --Doc Tropics Message in a bottle 18:35, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
