[edit] Merril Bainbridge image
The image you uploaded at Commons already exists on en.wp! Image:MerrilBainbridgeTheGarden.jpg. pfctdayelise (translate?) 11:22, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about that, I'm still learning how to do this :( Please feel free to delete it then.
- It's OK, I did ;). If you want some advice about whether or not you can use an image, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Note that you should assume by default that stuff is copyrighted, not that it isn't. Copyrighted stuff can still be used/uploaded here under the fair use guidelines. pfctdayelise (translate?) 13:11, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Adding nonsense to wikipedia
Please refrain from it, thank you Superdude99 12:56, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Apologies. One question tho. What defines something as being a "current event"? The article on North Korea is a current event, but an article on Iraq is not allowed to be, nor is Iran, despite news coming from both these places on an (almost) daily basis. What makes North Korea more current over Iran/Iraq? [I assume this is the "nonsense" you were referring to]?
[edit] Spam Link to Slinky
Please stop adding commercial links to Wikipedia, as you did in Liz Shaw. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks.
Also, please just note that blanking out your user talk page is pretty unusual behaviour - anyone can still see the edit history, so you're not hiding anything, and it's generally helpful to leave your talk page so that other Wikipedians can see what discussions/disputes/actions you've taken part in. In your case, that's a prior warning for adding vandalism - so, blanking out your talk page really just makes you look worse. --Dom 03:47, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- Woah, apologies about the spam link warning - I now see it used to be Shaw's website although there's nothing there now. I was getting confused with slinky.co.nz. My comments about blanking out the talk page still stand though - there are archiving templates if you prefer not to have old conversations pile up. --Dom 03:52, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
Okay. I have no idea what slinky.co.nz is, by the way. And her old site (slinky.net.nz) is now defunct, anyway.
