[edit] Story and Battle Mode Characters

Many characters are playable in this game. All the notable villains from the series are playable, as well as Sector V and their allies, but some of the villains and all the allies must be unlocked.

[edit] Kids Next Door

This is a list of all playable Kids Next Door.

[edit] Operatives in Battle Mode

These are operatives who are only playable in Battle Mode. All other playable operatives except for Sector V (Numbuhs 1-5) are on this list. Operatives that are not on the list can be assumed to be non-playable.

[edit] Villains

This is a list of villains fought in each operative's individual storyline in Story Mode. Operatives' main foes are listed here with the places where they are found (also called Boss's Battlefields). All bosses are playable in Battle Mode. Some operatives who battle foes riding vehicles will ride 2x4 tech vehicles with which to do battle. These vehicles are listed under the operative's name.

[edit] Numbuh One

Vehicle: F.L.I.E.R.P.L.A.C.E.

Hint: When fighting the Hall Squad's Bus Walkers in the F.L.I.E.R.P.L.A.C.E., aim for the legs (the Walkers' weak spot), as the bus body is invincible.

[edit] Numbuh Two

Vehicle: C.O.O.L.B.U.S.

Hint: In the Senior Citizen Squad battle, attack Senior Citizen's head (where Lydia is sitting); this is Senior Citizen's weak spot.

[edit] Numbuh Three

Vehicle: H.I.P.P.I.E.-H.O.P.

Hint: In the first battle, against Mogul and Simon, since H.I.P.P.I.E.-H.O.P. cannot jump very high, fire missiles at the front window of the Rainbow Monkey Aircraft where Mogul and Simon are. The missiles should distract the pilot, causing him to make the Aircraft fly closer to your position, giving you a better chance of hitting the Aircraft.

[edit] Numbuh Four

[edit] Numbuh Five

[edit] Team Up System

Kids Next Door B.A.T.T.L.E. features a unique battle system called Team-Up which is basically what it sounds like: two characters team up to battle one or two opponents. Sometimes villains will team-up on your player character (see above) but sometimes in these cases, other operatives will team up to help you out. Note: While the CPU initially controls player allies, another person may take over the second controller to play as the ally. In the Battle Mode 2 (i.e. 2-Player) example below, Maurice teams up with Numbuh Five to battle the duo of Baby Jackson and Emperor Dave.

[edit] Example

  • The 1st Player has Numbuh Five attack Jackson while the 2nd Player controls Maurice, who fights Dave.
  • Maurice can do a "Team Attack" with Numbuh Five every time either of them collects enough Battle Points. Jackson can also do this with Dave if either of them get enough points.

[edit] Unlockable Extras

There are many Unlockables in the game. Here is a few of them.

[edit] Boss Battlefields

This is a list of locations from Codename: Kids Next Door that, after being unlocked, can be used as battlefields.

  • Sandy's Sandcastle: King Sandy's Battlefield
    • Unlock Requirements: Defeat King Sandy in 3's Storyline.
  • Meteor Landing (KND Moonbase): Chad's Battlefield #2
    • Unlock Requirements: Defeat Chad in 1's Storyline and collect 100 BP.
  • Hill House (The Alamode, Present-Day)
    • Unlock Requirements: Play Numbuh 19th Century's "Secure the Cake" mini-game in Mini-Games Mode and earn 50 BP.
  • 19th Century House (The Alamode 100 years ago)
    • Unlock Requirements: Play Numbuh 19th Century's "Secure the Cake" mini-game in Mini-Games Mode and earn 100 BP.
  • Little Hospital: Baby Jackson's Battlefield
    • Unlock Requirements: Defeat Baby Jackson in Battle Mode 1
  • Macaroni Museum: Mr. Boss' Battlefield
    • Unlock Requirements: Defeat Mr. Boss and the Ice Cream Men in 3's Storyline

[edit] Hidden Characters

This is a small list of hidden characters who are only playable in Battle Mode.

[edit] Secret Moves

In Battle Mode 2 a.k.a. Two-Player Battle, all characters (operatives, allies, and villains) have secret moves that they can utilize only after they collect a certain number of BP (Battle Points), normally starting around 50. Some villains who are part of a team (such as members of PTOOEY or Faculty 4 members) can use a "Dual Attack" when they team-up (see above).

  • Count Spankulot's "Wicked Dark Wave"
    • Description: Waves appear around Spankulot and fan out, hitting anyone in their way, including any ally the Count may have.
    • How Obtained: Collect 50 BP
  • Mr. Boss and his Ice Cream Men's Ice Cream Truck
    • Description: One of the Ice Cream Men's trucks appears and Mr. Boss and the Men board it. They can now use the truck's ammo against their foes.
    • How Obtained: Collect 100 BP while playing as Mr. Boss teamed-up with one of the Ice Cream Men
  • King Sandy and the Knights of the Round Towel's "Sand Pyramid"
    • Description: King Sandy climbs on the center Knight's shoulders, while the three Knights form a rough pyramid. Sandy then leaps down on the foe(s) with his shovel pointed downward.
    • How Obtained: Collect 100 BP while playing as Sandy teamed-up with all three Knights of the Round Towel
  • The Hall Monitors' "Bus Walker Attack"
    • Description: A Bus Walker (as seen in Numbuh 1's Story Mode and the episode Op. S.N.O.W.I.N.G.) appears and the Hall Monitor(s) climb inside. The foe now faces the Bus Walker instead of the Hall Monitor(s).
    • How Obtained: Collect 80 BP

[edit] Character Taunts

Much like fighters in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Kids Next Door B.A.T.T.L.E. characters have their own taunts, consisting of a in-character quote and a certain movement from that character. Since there are so many playable characters, we list only the more notable ones below.

[edit] Annoyingly Cute Triplets Who Lived Upon the Hill

  • "This will be our greatest birthday ever! We're so sorry you won't be alive to join us in celebration." (They wave their tentacles/legs around as they say this)

[edit] Baby Jackson

  • "Heeeeere's Jackson!!!!" (bounces excitedly in his carriage)

[edit] Delightful Children from Down the Lane (in the R.R.I.D.M.)

  • "We'd hate to see you cry, so we'll take you down before then!" (They then high-five each other)

[edit] Father

  • "You don't want to make me mad. When I'm mad, I get all FIRED up!" (On "FIRED", he surrounds himself in flame, which dissipates when he finishes)

[edit] Interesting Twins from Beneath the Mountain

  • "You're making me lose my . . . ."- Twin Girl; "Patience, sister. We will defeat them soon enough."- Twin Boy (They smile at each other, and shake hands)

[edit] Negative Numbuh 86

  • "I don't want to fight you. Well, okay, if you insist." (She kicks at the air, as if limbering up for her next attack)

[edit] Numbuh 1

  • "Kids Next Door, Battle Stations!" (He then points ahead, hovering for a moment on his J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S.)

[edit] Windsor

  • "Queen Tie, sic 'em!" (looks around, he is alone, of course, because Queen Tie is dead/not a playable character) "Oh well, I guess I'll have to do it myself."
