Numbskull was released by the Brit pop band Ash on April 26 1999 as a limited edition, individually numbered, EP of 5000 on CD and double 7" vinyl. It appeared as track 7 on the Nu-Clear Sounds album (October 5, 1998) and also as the final track on Intergalactic Sonic 7’’s (September 9 2002).

This was only available as a limited edition, of 5,000 numbered, CDs and 7"s.

Writing credits go to Tim Wheeler and Mark Hamilton. The controversial video for the EP was directed by Darran Tiernan and featured self-mutilation sex, drugs and Tim naked.
