Nufarm (ASX: NUF), headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, is one of the world's leading agricultural chemical companies, with operations in all corners of the globe. The company holds more than 2,100 product registrations, and markets products in more than 100 countries around the world.

The company is a global leader in the manufacture and marketing of phenoxies, a class of herbicides that control and eradicate broad-leafed weeds. These products are manufactured in globally networked facilities in Australia, England, Austria and the Netherlands.

A large range of other crop protection products are produced in manufacturing facilities in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.

Nufarm has also developed a valuable position in the turf and specialty markets (lawn care, golf courses, municipal parks, aquatic and forestry weed control).

In addition, the company operates two chlor-alkali plants in Western Australia, procuring chlorine for titanium dioxide producers. Further operations, in North America (South Carolina) and formerly in France (Beuvry-la-ForĂȘt) produce a variety of fine and performance chemicals used by, among others, pigment manufacturers, the explosives and fertiliser industries, the construction business and pharmaceutical companies.
