I believe the image has an error. Both DNA strands in the image go into the same direction, whereas in reality one of the strands should go into the opposite position. Wilke 17:29, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Actually, the current figure has at least three, maybe four errors. 1. The alleged T is missing the methyl group at the 5-position, so it's actually a U. 2. The C should have a double bond between the 5- and 6-carbons. 3. The G should have only a single bond between the 1-nitrogen and the 6-carbon (note the carbon that forms five bonds). 4. It's ambiguous, but in some cases at least it looks like the "5" is labelling the 4' rather than the 5' carbon. Josh Cherry 00:04, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
