NTLWorld

NTLWorld is the internet service provider (ISP) of United Kingdom cable television company NTL. They offer both dialup and cable modem services. They offer email via POP3 and webmail, without support for encryption on their webmail services.

Their web caching is provided by Akamai web caches. These have been the source of many problems in the past, but they seem to have settled down recently. NTLWorld's Usenet servers tend to perform poorly. NTL's Customer service has also been the source of many complaints.

The NTLWorld website is among the top 1,000 visited on the Internet according to Alexa Internet, and offers brief news articles, weather forecasts, share prices and Windows Media music downloads, among other things.
