Novar (also Novar Controls) is a United States company based in Cleveland, Ohio. Novar is a manufacturer of building automation systems for heating, ventilation and air conditioning HVAC equipment.
Novar was acquired by Honeywell International in 2005, along with Alerton and Trend Controls. In North America, Novar is comprised of two groups: Novar, whose customers include Wal-Mart, and independant Novar Technology Centers. The latter group is now transitioning to the Trend name, which has historically been strong in the UK and elsewhere in Europe.
