The Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) is the community college of Nova Scotia.
Originally Nova Scotia's post-secondary specialized training and vocational institutes operated independently, however in 1988 the Nova Scotia Community College was created by an act of the provincial legislature as a means to centralize administration, coordinate funding and remove program duplication. Since then, the NSCC network of campuses has evolved into a province-wide, community-based, polytechnical institute.
