Intelligence (Nous) is the level of intuition, where discursive thought is bypassed and the mind attains a direct and instantaneous vision of truth. Discursive thought means reasoning from premise to conclusion, or being aware of first one thing, then another. With the Soul there is the beginning of time, and therefore of Creation (because Creation by its very nature requires sequence in which to occur). Whereas the Nous embraces the whole of the Noetic world in one timeless vision, the Soul's contemplation is forced to change from one thing to another. The distinction between Soul (Psyche) and Intelligence (Nous) corresponds to the difference between discursive and intuitive thought.

The Soul thus constitutes the Nous projected into Time. Although still creative and spiritual, is no longer eternal, or perfect in its consciousness. It cannot see things in a holistic and all-embracing way, but only successively, imperfectly, moment by moment, in terms of past and future. The Soul is the lowest hypostasis, the lowest irradiation of the Divine. Deficient as it is, it still retains a trace of the original on-tological authenticity or Spiritual-Being-ness of the higher principles.

The Soul is considered to be an exact replica and spark of the Divine which emanates from The One, symbolized by the Monad. The purpose of life is to realize one’s True Self as Soul/Ego/Psyche (Self-Realization), True Essence as Nous (Spirit-Realization) and True Divinity (God-Realization) while living in the physical body.

Scythe - Contributed a paragraph on the Scythe and the history it has with Halloween.
"The scythe was developed thousands of years earlier by a group of semi nomadic peoples named the Scythians; thus procuring the name Scythe. Later when the Church feared the further developement of Hemp they systematically censored Hemp from history, even what was once originally the "Hemp" war of 1812, it's now only the war of 1812 and furthermore children in schools are only taught they were traderoutes, not specifically that it was major Russian Hemp supply routes that the parties were fighting over. This is just one example of the systematic censorship of the R.C.Ch. Another example involving the Scythe would concern the Grim Reaper and his Scythe, and the harvest of Hall`o`ween, or All Hallow's Eve. What was once the Christmas Eve of of the pagans, the celebration of all for great harvest. A harvest using the Scythe, for what the Scythe was originally developed for, harvesting Cannabis. Or what 4 different cultures for over 3,000 years considered the Tree of Life. The church turned the Scythe into a tool of the Grim Reaper who collects the souls of individuals who turn on Yahweh and eat from the Tree of Life now. When before the Tree of Life was Cannabis, Halloween for them instead of Gouls and Goblems was a festival of celebration at the end of the Fall in celebration for the great harvest of Cannabis. The festival was full of dancing and celebration, great couldrons about 75lbs were found by archeologists in mesopotamia with blackened rocks, burnt seeds and charred stems; remnants of the pinecone like fruits at the tops of the plant that were tossed atop the hot rocks. Ancient Greek Herodotus, a scribe, writes that, groups of tribesmen and women would dance, wade, sit, in the middle of tent structures with the holes cut out of the top, and howl with pleasure and laughter. The R.C.Ch didn't want this festival to go on, so they turned that specific festival into Halloween, gouls n goblins, and the Grim Reaper of Souls."
