[edit] Documentation
Substantive pages -- articles, especially -- are discussed in general on associated talk pages. Articles require sources, references, and citations to uphold page content; other pages may also have such source material. This may include verbatim quotes and other lengthy or roughly organized material and may be segregated onto a Notes subpage of the associated talk page.
{{notepage}}
provides a standard method of creating and linking such notepages. Pages on which this template is transcluded display a standard talk message box (class="messagebox standard-talk") with a set of standard links into the notepage. The talk page is categorized to Category:Pages with notes.
The first time the small "edit" link is clicked, the notepage will be opened for editing, preloaded with the contents of Template:Notepage/preload, which should not otherwise be used.
This template is derived from {{todo}}.
[edit] Usage
