Somebody with more time on their hands should add the following things:

The foreign exchange student also takes a lot from the foreign exchange student in the 1988 teen movie "Summer School."

There are some "10 Things I Hate About You" references not in here.

Janey's crappy house and drunk father are a reference to the movie Pretty In Pink.

[edit] References to other films and original research

The references that this movie makes to other teen films are original research to me. Even though they may seem obvious to fans of teen movies, there are no sources cited for any of them. Reputable sources (e.g. story writers, director) that say that these specific characters are parodied. Otherwise, the references should be edited out. Wikipedia is not here to tell readers that this character is parodied by this character. It is for informing readers that some reputable source said this character is indeed a parody of some other character. --Darren Lee 16:22, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

You want sources to prove that characters are parodied by a parody movie? Doesn't it a bit unreasonable, especially for a topic of such minor importance? -- Tallasse 07:48, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Actually, the special features on the DVD come right out and state many of the parodies. As you said, many of these parodies are obvious, sharing mannerisms, appearances, and in some cases, dialogue with characters from other movies.--Sidhebolg 01:42, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Vandalism?

It looks like there was some vandalism within the page; generally 1337's don't belong in the middle of paragraphs. If I knew how to do a reversion I would. Maybe somebody else could? 67.42.141.130 04:25, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
