Notosuchus ('southern crocodile') was an South-american crocodilian similar to Allodaposuchus. It walked around like a modern-day lizard. They were terrestrial reptiles, living about 80 million years ago in the Coniacian or Santonian epochs of the Late Cretaceous. Remains of this animal have been found in the Neuquen Formation in Patagonia, Argentina.
