"Not Today" is the third single (second international single) from Mary J. Blige's sixth studio album Love & Life, performed with rapper Eve. Released in 2004, the track was also used as a single for the soundtrack to "Barbershop 2". The rap is about a promise that is not being kept, but is allowed for.
