I left the long edit summary to encourage others to get curious and read your contribution, which was bound to get reverted anyway :-). NoSeptember talk 18:58, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries (GeorgeMoney)

Well, I have a monobook that gives me 2 different rollback summaries. One is [revert vandal] and another is [rollback page]. The vandal one says "Reverted vandalism by Example User to last version by Example. Please do not compromise the integrity of pages", and the Rollback page one says "Reverted edits by Example User to last version by Example". That script was written by Voice of All. I guess you could get him to alter that to provide multiple summaries. --GeorgeMoney T·C 19:29, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Yeah. I really don't like it when people use the same rollback summary every single time. For example, one time, I made an edit to a template, which was not vandalism, and because I made one little typo, it messed up the template, but I didn't know, and then somebody rolled back "Reverted edits by GeorgeMoney (talk) to last version by somebody else", and I thought they thought it was vandalism. Then, I had to talk to them on their talk page and wait for a reply, and it was just annoying. I like it whan people say "rv - your edits messed up the template. look at User:Somebody", and then I would be able to find the problem. I think the rollback summaries should be "Reverted vandalism" "Reverted good-faith edits" "Reverted addition of external link" "Reverted personal attack" , etc... --GeorgeMoney T·C 19:45, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Signpost received from May 8th, 2006 onwards

I do not archive the Signpost summaries I receive every week. The first one was received on 9 May 2006, and they arrive weekly. To view them, look in the history of User talk:NoSeptember for edits made by Ral315, Ralbot, Michael Snow or Treebark.

[edit] Signatures

[edit] Your signature (Tomf688)

Please add two </font> tags at the end of your signature, as it is currently messing up any text that comes after it (see Talk:Sandra Day O'Connor for an example). --tomf688(talk) 20:19, July 13, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Want (General Eisenhower's Signature)

I really want links in my sig because they show accounts. Plus, there are other users who have them. General Eisenhower (talk of my war years) (talk here) (Help ME Improve) (war or Magic) (C) (es:User:General Eisenhower|Espanol]]) 23:10, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Spawn Man Polls

[edit] Polls:

Hi. I'm just sending out a message for a new study I will be undertaking soon. It will involve surveys & polls to gather information & trends of editors on Wikipedia & other subjects. The data gathering will involve yourself recieving a questionaire on your talk page for you to fill out. I will then collect your questionaire & combine it with data from other editors. If you would like to be a part of this experiment, or know of someone who does, place a "Yes" or "No" below this message. Remember, it's only for fun & you can choose not to fill out all or parts of your questionaire once they arrive. Have a nice day... -- Spawn Man 06:30, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I'll give it a try. NoSeptember 10:30, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Great! As soon as I get enough people, I'll send out a questionaire. Thanks! Spawn Man 22:04, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
