Talk:Norman Bethune
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As a Canadian, I'm surprised that I didn't really learn about Norman Bethune until I came to China. Communist or not, Bethune was a selfless man, who every Canadian should see as a model in their own life.
- Indeed. I have supplemented this article with factual information, neutralised the anticommunist bias, and corrected a number of errors of spelling and the like. Shorne 00:19, 29 Sep 2004 (UTC)
The article is tendentious and has a very un-encyclopedic air of Chinese Socialist Hero hagiography about it.
See the book "Saranac, America's Magic Mountain" for a more human depiction of Bethune.
"success of univeral heealth care"? Umm, bias again wikipedia? Socialism doesn't work!!! (68.227.211.175 19:23, 22 January 2006 (UTC))
