[edit] In-universe style
I'm not sure if that's what you'd call it, but this article is in serious need of a clean-up to distinguish fact from fiction. Having a background story for the kids is nice and all, but this is an encyclopedia. Freyyr890 01:16, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- This article is a good example of how to avoid writing in-universe: "For over fifty years on Christmas Eve NORAD has told stories...." "Each hour, the Web site shows a CGI-rendered Santa...." "NORAD has devised a fictional account for its tracking system...." I'm not sure exactly what you are objecting to. ➥the Epopt 03:26, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- I was the one that inserted two out of three of those cited examples. -Freyyr890 03:41, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rewrite
This article should be rewritten. It is almost entirely a direct copy of the Santa tracking website, even using "we" in places. 81.58.34.171 13:00, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I guess that somebody was thinking the exact same thing when I wrote this. Fixed now. 81.58.34.171 13:01, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
