Northwest Nazarene University is a private, co-educational Nazarene university in the United States. It is located in Nampa, Idaho, and was founded in 1913. Formerly known as Northwest Nazarene College, the institution achieved university status in 1998.

For the fourth consecutive year, Northwest Nazarene University has garnered a top-tier ranking as one of the leading universities in the West by the U.S. News & World Report annual America’s Best Colleges edition.

Northwest Nazarene University has six schools: Academic Resources; Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; Business and Economics; Education and Social Work; Health and Science; and Theology and Christian Ministries. The university offers four baccalaureate and five graduate degrees.

The school's mascot is Clyde the Crusader with the sports teams bearing the name of Crusaders. NNU participates in the NCAA's Great Northwest Athletic Conference at the Division II level in Men's and Women's Basketball, Baseball, Women's Softball, Women's Soccer, Cross Country, Track and Field, Women's Volleyball, and Men's Golf.
