The football teams have their own website, www.northvillemustangs.com, sponsored by the Northville Football Parents Association.

[edit] Clubs
Northville offers many extracurricular activities, including National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, German club, band, choir, Science Olympiad, drama club, and SADD.
[edit] Band Program
Under the direction of Mike Rumbell, Northville High School's band program has been recognized both in state competitions and various festivals. Though the marching band does not compete against other schools, Northville's concert bands have frequently received high marks at state festivals, and the Northville High School Jazz Ensemble I has won "best of show" in the MSBOA State Jazz festival numerous times along with frequently being invited to perform at such venues as the Detroit International Jazz Festival.
[edit] Publications
Until the 2005-2006 school year, Northville High School offered a journalism class that produced The Mustanger, the school newspaper. The class was discontinued that year due to lack of interest. The school currently does not have a newspaper.
The yearbook Palladium is produced through a course.
[edit] Recent Population Growth
The high school used to be located in the city of Northville itself. Because of overcrowding, the district constructed a larger facility in the township south of the city, and the previous building became Hillside Middle School. Two years after construction, an addition was needed to the new building, and with the current rate of growth, another addition or the construction of a second high school is foreseen within five years.
