This article is about the railway company Northern Spirit. For the Australian football (soccer) club of the same name, see Northern Spirit FC.

Northern Spirit was a brand name used by a train operating company in the United Kingdom in the 1990s, running trains in the north of England. When its owners, MTL, were bought out by Arriva in 2000, the operation was rebranded as Arriva Trains Northern.
