Northern Lights Out is episode number 155 of the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series. The episode is a part of the Vacation in Europe series from 1992-1993. The Vacation in Europe series take place during season 4. This episode of the show was written by Ted Pedersen and Francis Moss. It aired on November 27, 1993, on CBS.

On their trip to Europe, the TMNT and April O'Neil visit Norway. Eric Red, leader of a group of "modern vikings", captures April O'Neil and steal Professor Swenson's map to the underground volcanos of Norway. Professor Swenson had an idea about giving energy for Oslo, the capital of Norway for thousands of years. Eric Red plans to Professor Swenson's plans to melt the polar ice cap and flood all the coastal cities on the Earth, which will make it "easy" for Eric Red and his gang to take over the Earth. The TMNT fight Eric Red and a mechanical sea serpent called the "Jörmungandr". The TMNT stop Eric Red before he can blow up the volcanoes.
