Northern Ireland Court Service

The Northern Ireland Court Service is a government department which runs the courts of Northern Ireland. The Supreme Court, county courts, magistrates’ courts, coroners’ courts and certain tribunals are all administered by the Court Service. It is the Lord Chancellor's department in Northern Ireland.
The Service was established in 1979 pursuant to the Judicature (Northern Ireland) Act 1978.
