Northeast Ohio Conference

The Northeast Ohio Conference is a high school athletics conference in northeastern Ohio. It will start playing in the 2007-2008 school year. The Conference will have 18 teams. They will be divided into three divisions of six. They will be named the Valley, River, and Lake divisions. The divisions have a chance to differ from sport to sport. They will also depend on the schools strength while also keeping in mind geography. The schools that will make up the Conference will come from the Pioneer Conference (all 8 teams), Western Reserve Conference (all 8 teams), and Lake Erie League (2 teams).

For football in 2007, the divisions will look like this:

  • Valley Division: Brunswick, Elyria, Lakewood, Medina, Solon, Strongsville
  • River Division: Cuyahoga Falls, Garfield Heights, Hudson, Mayfield, Nordonia, Stow
  • Lake Division: Brush, Normandy, North Royalton, Parma, Twinsburg, Valley Forge
