Northeast Coast National Scenic Area(東北角海岸國家風景區) is located at Northeastern Taiwan with special geographical and historical distinctness. It ranges from Nanya Borough, Rueifang Town, Taipei County from the north to North Porth of Toucheng Town, Yilan County, and covers Rueifang and Gongliao Townships of Taipei and Toucheng Township of Yilan.

Tourism Bureau, Department of Transportation of the ROC (Taiwan), in 1979 December, the "Report for Northeast Coast Special Scenic Area Planning" was commended to National Chengchi University and was ratified by Executive Yuan in 1982 February.

On Jun 1, 1984, this Special Scenic Area was found and promoted to National Scenic Area on Jul 1, 1995. The Administration Office is located at No. 36 Singlong St., Fulong Village, Gongliao Country, just near the Fulong Bathing Beach.

The duties of NE Coast National Scenic Area Administration includes maintenance and patrol of this area. It also provides information and service such as online application for:

  • Visiting Gueishan Island
  • Pleasure-boat sailing and docking at ports of Longdongwan preservation area.
