The North Western District of Oklahoma City is popular with the creative class and the well to do.

Located on N. Western Avenue north of 40th Street due north of Oklahoma City University and adjacent to the posh inner burb of Nichols Hills, Oklahoma, the new entertainment area is full of eclectic restaurants, shops, and numerous live music venues and bars.

Among special note is the 4400 block with its rapidly developing Japantown of shops and restaurants, unique in the state of Oklahoma.
