North Ormesby

North Ormesby is an area in the town of Middlesbrough in the borough of Middlesbrough and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England often referred to its nickname "Doggy".

It has in recent years seen something of a decline, however recent developments include the restructuring of the A66 Redcar - Penrith trunk road which passes through the north of the area.

It is situated just to the south of the River Tees and the A66, and is adjacent to the Cargo Fleet and South Bank areas of Middlesbrough. The Teesdale Way long distance trail passes just to the north of North Ormesby.

North Ormesby is located next to the Middlesbrough F.C. stadium "the Riverside" and is a popular route for match-goes to go and see Middlesbrough in the FA Premier League as well as Cup matches.

North Ormesby is currently under development with sereval new buildings been built now.
