North Liverpool Academy

The North Liverpool Academy is a school in the north of Liverpool, England. The school is an academy and is funded by businesses. The school began when Anfield Comprehensive School and Breckfield Comprehensive school merged in 2006. Its current site is in the old Anfield buildings on Priory road, Anfield but plans have been made to build a new building which will be located closer to Breckfield's old site.

The principle of the North Liverpool Academy is Kay Askew. The vice-principal is John Rigby. The school has approximately 1200 students.

The North Liverpool Academy has recently be involved in a national news story. A boy at the school had taken a day off as his dog had died but Kay Askew, the principle had not seen this as an appropriate reason and sent two truancy officers to the boys house to try to make him go to school. This was not good publicity for the school.
