North Kosovo

North Kosovo is the Serbian-populated populated northern part of Serbia's southern province under UN administration, Kosovo, that maintains its own government, seated in Kosovska Mitrovica. It is composed out of three most northern municipalities of Kosovo, Leposavić, Zvečan, Zubin Potok and the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
The area doesn't recognize the Albanian government in Priština, but the legitimacy of Serbia instead, maintaining its own government and Serbia's national symbols as well as using the dinar instead of official Kosovo's euro. It's out of juristiction of Priština ever since the 1999 United Nations Mission in Kosovo.
