North Greenwich

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

North Greenwich is an old name for the southern tip of the Isle of Dogs in London, facing Greenwich over the River Thames. The area is now rather known as south Millwall.

There is now a North Greenwich tube station, but this is not in the area historically known as North Greenwich, but on the Blackwall peninsula, now known as the Greenwich peninsula. Previously, however, there was a North Greenwich railway station in the area now known as south Millwall.
