North Glengarry, Ontario

North Glengarry is a township in eastern Ontario, Canada, in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.
The name came from Bishop Alexander Macdonell who emigrated to Canada with members of Clan MacDonnell of Glengarry.
It is a primarily rural area located between Ottawa-Hull, Montréal and Cornwall-Massena.
According to the 2001 Statistics Canada Census:

- % Change (1996-2001): -2.0
- Dwellings: 4,509
- Area (km²): 642.38
- Density (persons per km²): 16.5
Since 1999, this area has been covered by the community website, Glengarry on the Web.
