The 2010 U.S. Senate election for the state of North Dakota is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2010. The incumbent, Dem-NPL Senator Byron Dorgan, will likely seek re-election to a fourth term.

No Republicans have announced their candidacy as of November 2006, and any such statement would probably be made after the 2008 elections. Possible candidates include present Governor John Hoeven and Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem, who have had very high approval ratings throughout their terms of office.
